"Spent way too much time looking and walked away empty handed. It was so frustrating that everything that looked like a possibility was damaged. There is no fitting room (how many years has it been since the pandemic?!). That is a bad combination with a no-return policy. Don't waste your time."
"Awesome finds every time I go in there..it's like a treasure chest .I will definitely be going there a lot more.."
"I stopped at this location with the intent to donate some kids clothes. I pulled up to the donation area and the garage door was halfway open. I waited a few minutes but no one even acknowledged me. I checked and confirmed that I had come during open hours so I got out of my car and went into the collection area to find out if they were taking donations today. I figured it was possible that they had reached capacity and not able to, but since no one came out to talk to me I wasn’t sure so I thought best to ask. I saw a few people working and they all ignored me so I stood and waited patiently until I had an opportunity to get someone’s attention. A young man finally came up to me and I smiled, said hello, and was about to ask my question when he interrupted me and sternly told me to go back to my car and wait my turn. I was taken aback by his demeanor because he seemed to be treating me as if I were some angry, demanding, unruly customer. I explained to him that I wasn’t upset and that I was just there to ask a question so I wasn’t sure what prompted him to treat me that way. He told me that they were busy and again that I needed to go back to my car and wait my turn despite the fact I never asked for immediate service. I never asked for anything and the only thing I did want was just to know whether or not they were able to accept my donation. I completely understand that they were all busy at that moment and would have been happy to wait. I told him I would be going somewhere else due to his being so unnecessarily rude to me. He said “fine” and walked away. They closed the garage door immediately after I left. I went to the Lakeville location where they were much more polite and kind and I don’t intend on going back to the Apple Valley location."
"Honestly, I cant say enough good things about the staff at this store... They went above and beyond the call of duty for me and a friend. A friends mom accidentally donated her dad's old bomber coat that he had in Korea. My friend contacted me the day her mom donated it all heart broken and mad because her mom got rid of this old coat that had a ton of sentimental value to without asking. I told my friend that I would go in the the store the next day, since my friend who lives in Liberty, Mo. Couldn't, after work. Anyway, I went in and asked the store workers about it...they didn't know about it but said they would check around. I gave the manager my name and number... And the brief description that I knew about the coat. We say the least the staff started going through boxes and donations looking for the old coat. They asked me how long I would be at the store...I was like however long it took. 2 hrs later or so they ended finding it. They even had called the distribution center and had them looking for it.. to say the least...they found it to my surprise! The amount of effort the manager and staff went through to find this old coat amazes me. To say the least....they definitely won me over."
"Hello friends and families. Long story make it short. After spoken to store manager, I was told to go back to the store to get the “JoinGoodwill” discount since Darlene, whom actually very friendly forgot about it. I went back Sunday and let me tell you guys. It’s was absolutely unprofessional and poorly handled. Shelia helped me this time, she was not friendly and did my transaction wrong, AGAIN. I took my times to explained to her but she didn’t care to listen or look at where I was pointing to ON the receipt. It’s was very frustrated after this because it’s took her about 20min to redo my transaction just to found out it’s was wrong and yet after all this…she ignored me. I even politely apologized to her that I’m sorry I took more of her times but she didn’t respond back to me. After ignoring me for 5min she called for help. Michelle came and she is such as rude as Shelia. Michelle is a manager, assuming. And she was rude, didn’t let me finished explain my situations after she asked me what going on. At this point I just can’t not with them and told them if they can just give me 50% off the 4 smalls items I have just purchased and forget the situation but Michelle quickly refused and cut me off when I didn’t finish talking. She said there is no way she will do that just for my convenience…. when I’m was there for more than 30min due to an error they did. Anyway you can see on both receipts if I were to get 50% off on the 4 items I’ll save less, about $7 vs where she have to take another 30min to correct my transaction just to give me the $12 back…Like I just want to leave at this point but they refused to listen and do what best for the customer especially it’s their fault and I been there too long. A total of 40min with Shelia and Michelle help."
