"We ordered for an event, something that was explained to very rude woman at register of grill. It was for children, so I asked what was in dish she describes to me and asked about any fish being in it: There were many bones in it and very tough, rubbery lamb. Rice portion was flavorful, but not $100 worth. also, asked about getting plantains, because regular thing on menu and something I thought all the children would try. I had asked for Jollof rice, but told they don’t have on certain days. It was hard to get a hold of them and confirm the order, and was not given any additional information when I called day of, but when picking up -there was no plantains. I can’t get refund over there phone and not an easy place to get into at times I can go in. Again. $100!?"

"Ordered the okra today it was absolutely disgusting. Actually encouraged me to stop playing with my money and make it myself. The store atmosphere is very crowded and chaotic so if you’re not used to this stuffs you will be easily overwhelmed. The lady employees act as if they’re being forced to work there no customer service skills waiting to jump down your throat. Come with thick skin and know what you want or you will regret. There’s a few things I don’t even think to buy as it’s overpriced and sunfoods literally have bigger portions for half the price and it’s not even 5 min away. I want to support my ppl but not at the expense of chopping more money for less."

"I have been a value customer and love the food. Unfortunately on 1/29/24 I ordered Egusi soup with pounded yam and it was delivered to me by door dash. After eating the food 4 hours later I experienced stomach cramping/nausea, cold and hot chills, vomited 8 times. I felt very ill and have not fully recovered. Now I have 2nd thoughts of ever eating at your restaurant again. TRAUMATIZED."

"The service is very bad and slow. The heavy set lighter skin women who takes the orders is rude, very poor customer service and a bad attitude. I was able to tolerate the rudeness because the food used to be very good and consistent. I believe they changed cooks because the last 3 times I’ve ordered food from them it’s been terrible no flavor only spicy. The last time I went I tasted the food when I got in the car and it was horrible. I wasn’t gonna take it back but a friend convinced me to. When I went in to exchange or return the food they gave me a lot of attitude and told me I should have asked to try it before I bought it. Although she knows me and knew I’ve been ordering and bringing people there to buy food at least twice a month for like 4 years now. After going back and forth she allowed me to switch it out for something else. Never ordered food from them again"

"Food is amazing, the packaging was perfect. The only reason why they didn’t receive a five star is because I stumble across more bones than meat it was kind of tricky for me to eat. The food was spicy the way that I like it, but I did notice that I didn’t receive the pepper sauce maybe they don’t offer it. I would recommend it."
