"Many menu choices, good size portion for the price. I noticed few details missing on the rice platter, Com Tom, the "fried egg" and "broken rice" is different than the traditional com tom, which should be shredded pork, pork-and-egg meatloaf, fresh and pickled veggies. The flavor is not bad but the few details do make a difference for the whole dish presentation and missing those flavors makes the rice more dry and not as tasty. I'll avoid rice dish maybe go for the Vietnamese salad (rice noodles) instead."
"Amazing, fresh, delicious food. We had pho with chicken, vegetable fried rice, and broccoli entree, all SO good and fresh. Portions of food were perfect. Ambient, clean environment as well. Will definitely be back when we're in the area! The only things that could improve are: 1. Service was a bit slow, but we didn't mind - food was quick to arrive once our orders were taken. Just don't be in a rush if you visit when it's busy. 2. The flow of the entrance is a bit cramped and hard to know where to stand when there's multiple people there. I also ran into the table with my hip when walking past there from the bathroom, my own fault and no big deal but just further shows the need for a better setup in this area. Overall we loved it, thanks for a wonderful meal!"
"One benefit of trying pho in different parts of the country you get to appreciate certain places. This place is the best authentic pho joints in the Midwest. My favorite dish is the BBH but you can’t go wrong with nearly anything you order. Staff is extremely quick and work like clockwork even when busy."
"We came here for lunch time so we had the lunch special which was a good price for all that you get. I was craving an egg roll and I was prepared to buy the appetizer but the lunch special came with 1 egg roll, a side of rice or fried rice and an entrée or soup! This is great, especially if you just want to try a small portion of the dish. In fact, my portion was still too big for me! I got the Imperial dish (lemongrass, Paprika and onions plus protein of choice) and my sister got the Garlic Sauce (veggies stir fried with garlic sauce and choice of meat.) They were both very flavorful, and not like the generic Asian fusion stuff. What a surprise to also find a big bottle of Sri Racha on the table! We also got the Lotus wings-- excellent spiced wings! I didn't know there was a Vietnamese restaurant in Downtown Maple Grove until I saw Uncle Roger go there! I thought the only Asian fare there was the Thai fusion restaurant on Main St, so we almost always end up leaving Maple Grove and going to nearby Brooklyn Center or Brooklyn Park if we really wanted to eat good Asian food. I'm so happy to know of this place now!"
"Good place for lunch. Spring rolls are good. Pho is recommended, the broth has a nice rich flavor. Pad Thai was a bit lackluster but noodles were good. Singapore Noodles had a bit too much turmeric, giving them a strong earthy, gritty flavor. If you ask for spicy, you get mild peppery flavor so don’t set expectations and ask for the pepper oil."
