"Came a few weeks ago for my birthday and had a reservation for 1:15. Nobody else came for that time frame so I expected after 5-10 mins we would just get our own. Once we waited a while I for fired they were pushing us back to try and seat us with others. Got sat at the table around 1:22 and didn’t order till 1:39. I wouldn’t have had a problem if it was communicated but we were just ignored for the gap period. Most important part tho - food was great. Server was quick and accurate. Chef was very skilled and entertaining. We made a reservation for a few days later but after first experience just went somewhere else. Got an email the day after and said (save $30) off your birthday. Clicked and it’s just a link to make a new reservation. Lastly my guest was gluten free and thought that there was gluten in the fried onions from the soup."
"Great place for special events. It is a little pricey, though! It's a great place to go a few times a year if you can afford it. Energetic environment, it can be loud at times. They cook the food in front of you and make a show out of it, It is kid friendly. There is a bar in the restaurant, alcohol may be present at your table. I recommend the Bennihanna Trio with two soups (one will replace the ginger salad). You'll get a little bit of everything and some to take home more than likely. I recommend asking for extra butter on your steak, chicken, and shrimp. The appetizers and sushi are decent. I recommend the tropical lemonade if you want to try something other than soda. I would get a main drink and water, and sometimes the waiter can get very busy during the meal and not have the ability to refill your drink promptly. They often will if you flag them down, though."
"Not seated for 20 minutes past reservation time. Experience was rushed. Fried rice costs extra $6 per person. Birthday pictures were very poor quality. Bathrooms were very dirty. Not what it used to be."
"Sisters dinner night out yesterday 10/13/23 turned into a nightmare. First time dining here since before the pandemic. We were so excited as we don’t come to this area anymore due to our moves and was so excited to eat! We even saved our bellies to come feast as we were that excited. The waiter’s tone of voice gave us all a feeling like he did not want to be there but we continue to think positive as we’re trying to have a good night. The waiter didn’t even ask how I want my steak for their Specialties 6 course meal so I had to ask him do I get that option before he walked away with taking our orders. In the end my steak was not medium rare as I asked, shrimp was over cooked, zucchini was sour and mushy. Two of my sisters started not feeling well halfway through our dinner and just thought it was the rainy weather. As we left the parking lot one sister started feeling even more worse and in so much pain in the car. We had to do an emergency bathroom stop at a grocery store on the way home for her. And the other sister almost didn’t make it home before they had an emergency too. We traced back what we ate and there was one sushi order that only both of them shared that I didn’t eat. They mostly like got food poisoning from sharing that. Won’t be coming back as food don’t taste the same, and witnessing my sisters suffer was traumatizing."
