Taco Shop

"Taco Shop boasts "Fargo's best tacos" on the sign and through the store, and -spoiler alert- they're good, I don't know about "best in Fargo" good. Nineteen bucks bought me two normal size tacos, two taco burgers, and two drinks, and I was expecting a little bit more, to be honest. Taco meat was fine, fixings were standard, sauce was fine, but nothing screamed "This is the best taco I've had in Fargo!" Likewise, the shop looks like a dive on the outside, fine for being cluttered on the inside, and the clerks were fast and sort of stand offish. Food was done before I paid, and that was nice. The best thing going here honestly were the sodas, which tasted better than the usual fountain drinks. All in all, a middle of the road affair all around."

"Not sure who voted this place “best tacos in town” It’s a glorified Taco Bell taco. I ordered mine without cheese and the rude employee taking our order didn’t seem to care about that. I knew instantly my order would be wrong, and it was. If you’re looking to decorate your toilet bowl after taking 3 bites of something that tastes like an adult lunchable… THIS IS DEFINITELY the establishment to eat at. I am extremely disappointed and won’t be coming back for anymore $3 tacos that you can get at taco bell for half the price. If you’ve ever eaten an authentic Mexican street taco, you’ll know what I mean by the fact this was the saddest taco I’ve ever had in my life. Also I hope the miserable woman that took our drive through order, finds happiness because OBVIOUSLY these tacos aren’t doin it for her either. I don’t blame her."

"Every time i go to Fargo i HAVE to have Taco Shop. It is a small local place with a great variety. I am addicted to combo burritos with a few extra toppings. Their shells taste homemade, their meat is not blah like most places and they perfectly distribute everything so every single bite is loaded. If you have never had the pleasure of a delicious "fast food" Mexican place, get there now!"

"The Taco Shop is a cheap eats eatery classic in Fargo. It's a small local fast Mexican food type place. The food including larger entrees, like an enchilada,is all under 10 dollars. The food is good here it's fresh and very clean place always good service I have always thought of it as good North Dakota Mexican food and nothing here, at least to my taste, is super spicy. I tend to order the same things here although their menu has breakfast burritos, grinders many different things. I like their tostada with cheese and I also had their Hawkeye taco named after FM Red Hawks Mascot. The food delish and fast friendly service. I like how crispy and fresh their hard shell tacos are. I love going here and happy with my visit every time--- also it's cheap."
