Black Coffee and Waffle Bar

"Was excited to try something new, the location is great, cool inside, seems like somewhere cool to hang out for breakfast. We expected a little more expensive for waffles, but were excited for the experience. However, service was awful, out of our group of 4, 2 waffles took over 20min from ordering and were served cold. I understand it was a weekend, and it can be busy, but being rude on top of untimely service with cold expensive waffles.. not impressed."

"The coffee here was great, the atmosphere is good with nice views of downtown. The service was also great and friendly, and the waffles are solid. The side of bacon for $4 was 3 very thin small pieces, quite disappointing .The waffles are good sized and loaded with toppings, but I think it's a little spendy for what you get overall."

"this place is PHENOMENAL. I was scared to come due to the other reviews being relatively poor, but honestly I have 0 complaints. I asked for a recommendation from the employee and ordered exactly what he said and it is so good. I ordered the Fat Andrew waffle with an iced latte and you need to order it too!!! Such a cool place, willing to spend the money for this delicious waffle."

"The food was great! Waffles were soft and spongy with just enough sweetness from the toppings to satisfy my craving without overloading the sugar. Only took about 10 minutes to get my food. Coffee was wonderful. From black coffee to a mocha, I would come back for any of them. Criticism: If I had to critique anything, I think I would make it a little clearer that silverware isn't provided with the food. Make sure to grab your silverware from the front before sitting down!"
