"Not bad at all! There's a lot of areas to picnic here and plenty of tables to choose from. They have open air tables as well as tables under ramadas that are shaded. You can access this either by just parking here...or if you go down from the Baseline Trail, you can get here too- go to the Viewing Point and then just head on down from the side trail- very beginner friendly hike downhill. I've seen some people just run up and down that section of the trail as hill-run exercise. Next to the ramadas is a sidewalk and trees and restrooms. The area is popular and can get busy. Note also only downside is restrooms looked kind of outdated and yucky- at least from the outside."
