Pipeline Canyon Trail

"A great hike at Lake Pleasant. We started at Pipeline Canyon Day use & trailhead to Cottonwood Day use & trailhead to Yavapai lookout and back to Pipeline trailhead for 6.2 miles. Great views with a bit of elevation gain."

"This is my paradise. Kind of rugged. Lots of rocks. Some people whould consider this a difficult hike. I didn't go to far, but the beginning is still very rugged. Fees into park area. Restroom at trail head. A bit of parking if you include the roads shoulder."

"Trail started nice enough, but the advertised bridge was just a pile of scrap about 1/4 of the way up the trail, preventing progress. I wasn't willing to go off trail or investigate what appeared to be an ATV access trail down into the canyon at the trailhead. It appears the bridge has been out for some time. Lots of firearm discharges in the distance, wasn't sure if it was a range or some other situation. Not what I would call a "park" atmosphere. Bathrooms were well-maintained."

"The real l trail was flooded about 3/4s of a mile down with no way to cross. Beautiful views, bathrooms, and picnic area. All in all, great."

"Easy trail and some great views. I really want to see a new bridge to add to the hike. Folks picnic at the end right at the water. No tables or benches as an fyi. There are bathrooms at the trailhead and a map. Quiet place and plenty of shade at the water's edge."
