"This is about the golf course. We did not stay there, drove down from Tucson. Showed up and parked and went in the pro shop. Asked if we could take a cart to the parking lot to load our clubs. We got a look of disdain and he said, we're a country club, no carts allowed in the parking lot. Bag drop area had no signs as we drove in. Went back to the car, seconds later a cart drove in the lot and the players unloaded their clubs into their car. Schlepped our clubs over to the bag drop area and found the starter. Not much help, just gave us the keys to the cart and we loaded up our own bags. Then they asked us to start early as the group before us was not all there yet. Hurry up now. No mention of where to start, if there was a beverage cart, pin position, restroom locations, or anything. At then end of the round the sign points in the wrong direction back to the parking lot and pro shop. We were driving down the street and a resident told us we were going the wrong way! Apparently this is common, according to the more helpful than the course staff resident. I mentioned this to the starter team and they said yeah, we know it's a problem, management doesn't do anything about it. Typical snooty club that "tolerates" day players. Poor service all around, clearly we were an annoyance. The course was in good shape, but is nothing exciting or interesting. We did not play the "Tin Cup" nine, just the other two nines. There are plenty of better courses in Tucson, and you don't have to drive an hour+ to get there. Would not bother to return."

"This pertains just to the facial I underwent yesterday. This is irrelevant to the spa or hotel itself, as the facility is stunning and the vicci body scrub I previously received was very exceptional. Nevertheless, I underwent the anti-aging face procedure yesterday, and the esthetician lacked the necessary expertise. She appeared to be a student. Considering the cost of $140 for a 50-minute session, I expected to receive a comprehensive facial treatment that would encompass not only my face but also my neck and décolletage. However, the esthetician neglected to address these areas during the session. She dedicated around 15 minutes to scalp massage. I reached a moment where I was about to express my desire to stop the scalp massage. Her facial technique was highly inadequate. The manner in which she massaged my face was quite unsatisfactory. At a certain juncture, she applied a substance on my face in the form of an "S" and simply left it in place, which was really peculiar. After the event concluded, I proceeded to the restroom and noticed that my face still had remnants of the product. It appeared as though the mask had not been thoroughly cleansed, resulting in the formation of dry and peeling residue. An elderly woman entered the restroom as I was exiting and inquired on the outcome of my facial treatment. I let her know my experience and she was very understanding, she requested that I complete a review, after which she would promptly address the matter with the facialist. Subsequently, she returned and granted me a discount of 15%. Insufficient, as I unintentionally provided a 20% tip as requested by the front desk. I will NOT be returning for a facial at that establishment. Nevertheless, I will certainly return specifically for the body scrub! Update 03/05/2024 returned today for a prickly pear Vichy scrub! It was absolutely wonderful. Just so you know, the manager made good on that bad facial I had and gave me a credit so I was able to have this body treatment done. I also purchased one for my daughter while there. I love love this treatment I can’t say more about it it’s absolutely fantastic and of course I love their their body soap and body lotion!"

"Golf course, property and food were all 5star. Phenomenal experience all around EXCEPT for the pro shop attendant on the morning of 1/28/24. Got in a straight up argument with my grandmother about payment. Demanding we pay again despite already paying via GolfNow. Finally got the receipt pulled up and proved him wrong. No apology, just said “well that’s not what I usually see” Absolute prick"

"Just had to submit a positive review regarding the staff at the golf clubhouse. Very professional, friendly, and genuinely concerned about assisting in every way. After golfing in the Phoenix area for years and becoming accustomed to how staff there treat people, it was a real eye-opener to not only be treated so respectfully and courteously, but to see others treated with the same concern."

"The Stables restaurant and bar is one of my favorite places. Service is top notch. The Pork Schnitzel may be the best dish I have ever had and the eggs Benedict with salmon was so delicious for brunch. The Tubac golf course is a really fun course and I always do a guys trip each year."
