Bobcat Day Use Area

"The day use area is nice but the beach nearby is very poopy. We felt uneasy touching the rocks and shore lest they also be poopy"

"Clean with lots of car parking. Clean restrooms and a nice little trail to the shore below the parking area."

"This area is bigger than the Ringtail Day Use area, and it has more pavilions/ picnic tables in the main parking lot area. The pavilions offer a nice scenic overlook of the lake, and it's quite breezy up there (good for a hot summer day). One of the pavilions also has an extra large picnic table that could seat about 12 (?) people. The area also comes with standard restroom and water fountain. Not bad. Also, the nice thing is from this facility, if you walk down the path and continue down the Roadrunner Trail a little bit, there are spots on the trail where you can walk down to the edge of the lake and enjoy the waves lapping against the shore."

"Nice getaway just outside the city. A lot of beach space. Hikes. Many picnic shelters. Can get quite warm - go early."
