Madera Canyon Waterfall

"Mike Coffey was highly recommended when our pool was being built. I told Mike that I wanted a waterfall feature to be bigger than our old one, which wasn’t much bigger. His words were “don’t do that to me”. I was willing to pay but I guess he didn’t want to do the extra work to make my waterfall feature the way I wanted it. What a mistake going through someone that doesn’t want to work!"

"This is a beautiful hiking area reached from Madera Canyon, but "waterfall" is a bit of an exaggeration. It is really a spring, Sprung Spring, which flows over a rocky ledge and over the trail. The spring is less likely to be your destination than some of the nearby peaks in the Mt. Wrightson area, or Baldy Saddle which is up on the ridge going NW from the main summit block."
