"I parked near what I believe to be the restrooms in my RV and walked around with my dog. It will be very nice when it’s finished. I was unable to find the river though. It would be nice to see signs explaining which way to go for what and the trails more clear. They have information about some birds and trees and seeds and things of that nature but they seem pretty old and some are difficult to read."
"Very nice small park with a walking path that runs along the preserve. Lots of willows and dogwoods to enjoy shade .Picnic tables and bathrooms. It is worth a stop if in the area."
"What a fun hiking trail! This 1.6 mile hiking trail offers multiple exercise stations all the way from arms, legs, back an opportunity to stretch and cool down. Hands down the best trail we’ve found."
"This place is amazing. A great place to go for a walk, read a book, see some wildlife, clear your mind with peace and tranquility. I very rarely see other people here aside from staff. Groves of trees, large grassy areas, places to barbecue, nice clean beach with clear cool water for swimming, and the price is right...free. This is easy one of the most beautiful underutilized parks in La Paz County."
"Great!! It is a hidden area. Nice view, clear water, fresh air and no traffic, You can go fishing, canoeing, and swimming at peaceful section of Colorado River backwater."
