"For those whose stay at Long Term Visitors Area in Quartzsite, Az I'll give you a few bits of information. To be authorized to use the Potable Water Fill and the dump station across the way you must pay either the $180 for 9/15 to 4/15 annually or a daily or weekly fee. The Potable Water is available starting at 6am daily. There can be waiting lines for the potable water and definitely for the dump station, particularly January thru end of February annually. You must bring your own hose and water container for the Potable Water. For the dump station they do have non-potable water to wash out your sewer hose but not to flush your black tank. If you are dumping the black on your actual RV keep 3 gallons of water in the bathroom of the RV and after you dump the black, fill toilet with water and then flush it into black 2 or 3 times to help flush out the black. Do this quickly as there is a waiting line to dump. Others dump with blue boys."
"Open 6 am to 6 pm. There are 8 spigots total and 8 vehicles can fill at the same time. The water is warm and it is well water aka has a yellowish tint. I triple filter the water before using it for washing, flushing, cleaning, showers etc. I buy RO water for drinking and cooking. The dumpsters and the 2 hole dump station is in the same area. Please note that a new waterfill and dumpstation was build in the summer of 2023 in La Posa Tyson Wash (the LVTA across the street). But as of Feb 11, 2024 neither had been opened."
"It is a water station. What can you say. Sometimes there is a line. Sometimes there isn't. Definitely encounter those who are clueless about the process and especially about common courtesy to other's by taking their time (futzing around when they aren't even filling any more) when they clearly can see there is a line building up behind them."
"Water looks and smells good. that comes out of a pretty high pressure though so just be prepared. There's a few other water places in town where you put your gugs in the kiosk push the button. What we're all familiar with."
"This is within the LTVA area. The restrooms sprinkled about. The area is dog friendly as long as you have your dog on a leash. Since it's a campground kids can play in the camp and you can picnic where you camp. Because the water has a lot of minerals in it many many people use some form of filtration I don't find it a problem personally."
