Reviews
"This park has it all! Two playgrounds 1 for big kids and 1 for toddlers, 2 dog parks for large and small breeds, basketball courts, open fields for soccer, freebie, football, and running. Lots of trails nearby. Can get kind of windy."
"Very nice park, dog park and trail. Clean restrooms and park. No graffiti, one of few place without. Park is well maintained and patrolled! Well done!"
"Nice and clean park. My boys and I enjoyed the trails and the splash pads. We also celebrated Mother's day with a picnic. The public restroom is clean and well lit, you won't be scared to use it. Once I've discovered this park, I invited the rest of the family to come and spend some time together."
"My son had his 21st Birthday party here. I didn't realize that this park was even here. I guess "Hidden" is appropriate. A lot of nice views from the backside of Black Mountain. The park was clean and well maintained. Just exit on W. Horizon and go west. Keep going until you get there."
"My kids are reviewing parks so here’s their perspective, I’ll leave my review at the end. I have all boys. Declan(age 9): Pros: lots of shade, plenty of benches, good for moms and babies, there’s a skate park and basketball court Cons: Bathrooms were gross. No hoops on the basketball court. No grass or playground. Tristan(age 5): Pros: Lots of shade, room to run and play, next time I’ll bring my scooter or bike. The rocks are awesome. Cons: the rocks make your hands red, needs a playground or sand box. •••••••••••• Okay, so I am a mom of 4 boys ages 9, 5, 3, and 10 months old. We stumbled on this park today bc we took our car to the care wash right around the corner. This was a great spot to kill time and if I had brought the kids scooters or bikes it would have been even better! We tried to find a ball at CVS(across the way) and nothing. Not even Vons had a ball! Apparently, there are trails, we didn’t see that. Didn’t see a splash pad either. Not sure if that’s still there. All in all, it was a great spot for us to kill time today. I don’t think I would bring the kids here for a regular hang out. It’s small, but I would be curious to check out the trails everyone has mentioned! Overall, it was better than hanging out at the car wash!"
