"For more than 20 years my husband and buddies have metal detected in the various parks in the city of Phoenix. He has put up with homeless who sleep in the parks, trash and abuse the facilities of the parks and dogs that are allowed to leave their discarded refuse on the grounds at liberty. Today these 3 older men were told they could no longer hunt in the Encanto Park in Phoenix because they might leave holes in the ground. Anyone who knows a metal detector enthusiast knows they are adamant about covering up any divot they might make. It seems a little unfair to a group of people who have honored their country for decades, paid their taxes faithfully, served in the armed services, and at retirement are run out of a city park because they think they might leave a hole in the dirt. Only God knows what some others, people and animals have left."
