"I purchased the original model NX2 in July of 2020. It stopped working in August 2021 (one week out of warranty, of course) and counting winter storage was only active in the pool for a total of 7 months. It worked great while it worked and, thinking I may have just gotten a dud, I purchased a new Ariel in Sept 2022. Well, it stopped working July of this year. For both models I spent a total of $1238 for essentially 17 months of total active service in my pool between the two skimmers. To add insult to injury Solar Breeze customer service never responded to my complaint. Stay away from this product. It will not last."

"Purchased the unit less than a year ago. The unit was protected during the winter. When we started using it this year we noticed that the battery does not hold charge, sometimes it won't turn in a all and if it does works for about 20 min. The unit gets enough sun to charge properly. Tried to find a replacement battery kit, but no luck. Emailed them over a month ago to ask for advise. They told me that there are no replacement parts available, and they can not see a warranty registration on file. Basically we are on out own. We have purchased the unit directly from them and they can see exactly when and who the buyer is. Unwilling to help with their own product. Otherwise the unit keeps the surface of the pool clean and if you don't mind buying one every season would be a good purchase for you. They claim battery should be good for 3y, but not the case with ours."

"08/21/20 - REVIEW UPDATE - I Had to send in my unit for repair under warranty. I first contacted Solar Breeze on 7/25 with a 2nd attempt on 7/31 with no response back. on 8/04 I went online and was able to chat with Kristy, she researched my requests and sent me a $25 return label so I can send in the unit for a warranty repair. Unit was sent in and signed for by David on 8/12. I have been unable to get a hold of anyone for a status update on my unit. I love this unit, just wish I could get some answers from customer service on where my equipment is. SOMEONE PLEASE CONTACT ME 09/30/2019 - I’ve only had my skimmer for a little over 2 weeks and my pool looks AMAZING. I have so many trees and shrubs all around my pool and was spending so much time hand skimming all the debris and not really enjoying my pool. This skimmer is awesome!! We just had a very windy day and when I came home the pool was sparkling clean. It’s worth every penny. I have recommended this to all my friends with pools"

"I owned the Solar Breeze for a little less than 2 years. In the beginning it worked pretty well then we didn't really use it during the winter season. It recently stopped working and when I reached out to the company to see how they can help, they said it would cost $180. A brand new one is $600... Basically, the cleaning robot is decent, but the customer service is terrible. I wouldn't invest in another one as it seems that they don't care about their customers."

"I've had my Solar Breeze NX2 for more than a year - best pool investment ever! It "ate" a snake and died; but it was under warranty, taken care of by them without any drama. Great to work with! If I ever have a problem again I have to remember to get a loaner, I missed it that much."
