Kamea Pools

"We had a lot of hope in Kamea. Jenica and Nate are kind and started out communicating great. Unfortunately they make a lot of promises they can’t keep. Our pool was supposed to be done in July 2023. I get that things happen. There were a lot of issues with our soil and things happen so each time the due date got pushed back we were disappointed but understanding. It’s been 8 months and our pool is still not useable. They have moved on. We were withholding a little bit of payment at the end because we were advised (by Nate) that we should wait until a project is finished to fully pay. Then we got a text from jenica saying we hurt them by not paying in full and they would never leave a job unfinished. So we paid in full. While “mostly” done it’s almost spring break and we can’t use our pool. There has been an issue that has needed fixed for months and they send a guy out who looks at it once in a while and tinkers around but nothing is actually getting done. We went ahead and made a spreadsheet with everything that still needs done and due dates. I let them know that if the items aren’t done we will be finding someone else to finish the project and send them the bill. It looks like that is what is going to happen. It’s really too bad. Again they are nice people. I think they want to be honest and do a good job. But I couldn’t leave them a positive review at this point. In our opinion-a good business owner would over communicate and do everything to deliver especially when they have been paid in full. And Kamea pools has failed to do that. Hopefully they have enough respect to pay the bill we send them to get our pool in working order at this point."

"We met with the owner about having a pool put in our small back yard. He was the 2nd person we talked to about a pool, he took his time to explain everything and was very patient with us. His wife does the books for the company, she is equally as nice. The pool turned out great, there were a couple little things that happened to the stucco when they had to crane the pool in but it was fixed immediately along with some cracked cement from the heavy trucks on the driveway. It was done in a timely manner and looks absolutely beautiful. Such a nice addition. The price was competitive with the first bid, even a bit less. The work was very professional."

"I can't express how happy I have been with Kamea Pools!Nate and Jenica are totally awesome and very easy to work with. They are the complete package of not only an awesome pool, but very amazing with landscaping as well. I researched getting a pool for many months and looked around at all the many options. I met with multiple contractors, but when I met with Nate and Jenica I knew they were the right ones. They answered all my questions and provided a cool rendering of what the pool style I wanted would look like in my yard. I was surprised when they said they could get to my pool within only a few months wait and was very happy with the price that they were willing to give me with the pool and landscaping. Nate also came up with a good solution to a previous landscaping problem that I had that caused some damage to our home prior to this. He was also willing to fix that quickly so we wouldn't have any more problems. They were right on time when they said our pool would get going and the process was so smooth and quick. We now have a very beautiful pool and backyard we can share with our family and make memories with. They helped us the whole way with picking pool colors and everything! This was a very big purchase for us and a bit scary, but they really made this such a nice experience and made sure everything turned out exactly as I wanted. They also provide three months of pool training so you can learn to maintain your own pool. I would highly recommend going with Kamea pools! They are the best and you will be very happy with the results and the price!! We love our new pool!"

"We have been completely satisfied with Kamea Pools. Ever since they started the job everything seemed to have gone smooth. I think what I'd like the most about them is they have real pros that have been doing this type of work for a very long time. Their expertise and knowledge has been impeccable. Starting with the excavating all the way through dropping the pool in and the cement work around it. They even did my Landscaping. Everything went smooth and these guys are real experts. Regarding the owners, I feel that they have been as honest and straightforward with me all the way through this process. There wasn't one time that I felt the 'wool was being pulled over my eyes' nor I was being smooth talked too.. Everything was discussed and upfront and everything was followed through exactly how they said they would do it. Honest, honest, honest! In this world, that's hard to find. In fact, I kept adding things to this project as they were doing their work and when I got my final bill, I was quite surprised how fair they were with the extras that I had unexpectedly thrown their way. My wife and I are extremely pleased with our backyard. I sit back there right and am in awe and feel like I'm living in some sort of paradise or resort. It really is that nice.. A happy customer, indeed. Of course, I would and have recommended them to my closet freinds. JK"
