"Made reservation for 2 weeks had to leave after 2 days, was willing to accept the fact owner considered the rent forfeited, but then he claims to be entitled to $100 deposit for electricity too. Nothing in writing and no receipt, my mistake. Guy is a crook, park is noisy on the highway and a dump. Not worth a dime. Dude, you took a $100 deposit for electricity and then because I left early even though I paid , you claimed I forfeited the utility deposit because I left early. All I'm saying is get everything in writing when dealing with a guy like this. I got nothing, my mistake. Besides, the park is ugly and right on the highway, and I wouldn't even think of staying there again regardless"
"Great stop / parking for a short walk to QIA for activities/ shows. Big enough for large rigs"
"This is a nice quiet park. Lots are reasonably priced and the owner will even help younget set up if needed."
"Awesome park. I've been here for 4 months and its by far the best place I've lived. The owner Vince keeps the park clean and safe. Well lit, and a laundromat on site. If ever a problem just call and he's there within the day. All the neighbors are friendly and quiet. Great place for me and my family"
"I'd give 5 stars except for one issue, which I describe below. The campground is small but well maintained and clean. The location is conveniently located providing easy access to all area attractions via car or walking. It is about a 10-15 minute walk to the location of the annual RV and Travel show. We walked it several times. The owner, Vince, doesn't stay at the campground but was always easy to get a hold of by phone and happy to assist. He provided recommendations for where to eat and other area attractions. I had one small issue with my experience. During the initial registration process Vince took a photo of my driver's license without notifying me that he was doing so. He simply asked to see my ID. I didn't realize it until he had already taken the picture. In the four months I've been traveling full-time, this was the first time I've experienced this. He explained that it was his way of recording guest's personal info in the event that a guest causes damage. My recommendation to Vince is that he record personal data of guests using a form similar to most other campgrounds and only record vehicle info, name and address. Storing driver's licenses and photo IDs on a non-secure phone is a bit risky. Vince did say he removed the photo after I requested he do so via a text message, but I was not able to verify that he did."
