My beautiful white shepherd, Sam, got sick and started losing weight and going down hill quickly. The Dr, kept him at the clinic and ran every test possible and did everything he could for Sam. He spent several days with the clinic over the last weeks of his life but sadly, my boy couldn't be saved and dr. Oplinger told me that Sam was now in a lot of discomfort and advised we put him down. Although he was very professional and kind in dispensing that duty, I could see that it hurt him to have to do it and i know it was done with all the love possible. I very highly recommend him to everyone I know who has a pet and I wouldn't even consider going anywhere else with my pets. When it was done and it was time to pay my bill I fully expected it to be at least three times what the Dr. charged me. I've had many pets over the years and have tried several different veterinarians and although they all gave their best, Dr. Oplinger and his staff by far outshined them all in compassion and a genuine desire to care for the animal, they are his first priority and he is not in this field to get rich.
