"Carlos Morales is top notch. He is always on top of things, reviewing our policies to make sure we have the best rates and always looking to make sure we are properly covered. He explains things well, and I always feel he is looking out for our best interest."
"Run for the hills and don't take the low price bait. Save yourself from heartache and trauma. Try to buy a small puppy or fix a leaky roof yourself (because they won't cover it) take the lousy $600 to fix the drywall...then get cancelled OUT OF THE BLUE. Not a nice company...always looking out for No. 1. You try to work with them and help them get through a claim and all they do is hold it against you. Poor, sad little company.."
"Glad to see other bad reviews. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. Cancelled my policy without telling me! They say they emailed me a form to state what breed of dog I have and never got it back. In fact, I never received the email. I did check my records and realized they mailed me a form, that I DID SEND BACK. I only figured out they cancelled me when I heard from my mortgage company. Now, they refuse to reinstate my policy. Their reason now is they claim they did a "google" and found out I don't live there. They say I'm renting it out. Well, I guess I'm homeless then, because I DO LIVE THERE. When I said, "Why didn't you call me to tell me you were canceling my policy?" The agent stated, "Oh, we have too many insured customers to call everyone." Well now you have 1 less to worry about! And hopefully this review will give you even fewer."
"Had a roof leak after a storm, submitted a claim a week later. Guy who came out wasn't exactly the nicest person in the world, but professional. They deemed it "long term damage" even though we never saw evidence of the leak prior (it was behind built in cabinets, only during a recent storm did we see water damage) and denied the claim. Also mentioned our roof was "weird" and apparently wasn't designed to standards (we bought the house from previous owner, whom never mentioned this). Fine, frustrating (since apparently we should be climbing on the roof and looking for leaks???), but we didn't have a choice. We fixed the leak within 2-3 weeks (contractor was booked due to recent storm) out of our own pocket. Submitted evidence. They apparently never received, and cancelled our policy. Went and asked since we had it fixed, and sent evidence if we could get reinstated, they denied it. Went to another insurance company and saved $150 a year. Don't go with these jokers. On a positive note, the customer service lady was extremely nice and understanding, just couldn't do anything due to the underwriters."
"5 Stars up until a year and a half ago. I have been with this company since 2008 and never had a claim, not even a conversation about one. Last year I received a letter my rates were increasing, not happy about it but ok. Now this year, guess what I get,,,you guessed it another letter advising my rates were increasing again. This time however my rates were increasing due to a "random" inspection where they found a simple swing set, no rock wall, no swinging ropes, a simple swing set in my back yard. When I got the policy I was asked if I had a trampoline or a pool because those were risks. I was never told a swing set would increase my rates. This is a extremely shady back door way to raise rates. Whats next, they find out my daughter rides her bike in the driveway. Seems to me that if there are restrictions or things that increase your rates, the customer should be told, ie. the trampoline or pool. If you are looking into this company, make sure you ask questions and get it in writing so you don't get the "random" inspection rate increase like me. I contacted the contact on the letter who was zero help.....I hope this helps."
