"We took our cat to the vet yesterday, we stated it was an emergency and they immediately took him in. We didn't get the news we had hoped for and had to make that decision to put him down due to a tumor growth on his jaw that took 3/4ths of it so he wasn't eating, drinking, and he became dehydrated and was suffering. The vet who we had was Josh Fender, he was really transparent and really helped us cope with the news. We really appreciated how appropriate he was and understanding of our situation. We also really appreciated the receptionists who were really understanding. They reassured us and told us to take as much time as we needed with our cat before we put him to sleep. We found out he was actually a boy, and was around 14 years old. To know that he is not suffering anymore is the best feeling I could ever have. Even though walking out with that empty carrier was really hard. Thank you for making this experience peaceful."
"We sent our sweet girl over the rainbow bridge a few days ago, she was 14 and no longer well. It was the most heart breaking thing I’ve experienced, but the staff here gave me peace that my baby was comfortable a d in the best care. They made the process so personal and respectful. My girl went out knowing and feeling nothing but love. Thank you so much for that. ❤️"
"Called ahead, they took our cat back as soon as I said who we brought in. Everyone was very nice. Vet was pretty quiet though, I think maybe she was having a rough day, I don't know. We'd never been there before. Hope to not need to again, but never know. There are no emergency after hours vets in the Sierra Vista area. It was an hour and a half drive one way. But we were thankful that there was somewhere to take our cat on Christmas day. Thanks to everyone who was at work on Christmas! Coyote is doing great now."
"We got my cat's ashes back, and we (4 of us in the room) put in the request to have his back AND front feet imprinted, but they only did the back feet. I've spent all day calling the vet office and the cremation place trying to find out who's fault it was. The cremation place told us they never got the request for both feet. Somebody here didn't do their jobs, and I have to live with THEIR mistake. The fact that nothing's actually gonna get resolved is what makes me angriest, because they can't just bring my cat back and try again. I'm furious. I feel disrespected, and I feel like they disrespected my dear boy. I will never see my cat again, I wanted a keepsake of his funny extra toes to hold onto for the rest of my life, and they screwed it up royally. I'm never coming here again even if my future pets' lives depended on it. That cat meant everything to me, and it's absolutely unforgivable. Shame on you."
"When Penny, my 9lb chiweenie was diagnosed with Squamos Cell Carcinoma in her mouth, I was terrified at the thought of losing her and the impact of treatment. Dr. Bolek and her team were compassionate, empathetic, and treated us both with tremendous care. Penny needed to have a piece of her mandible removed which was quite frankly terrifying. The good news was that a successful removal would mean no spread and minimal other treatment. Within 24 hrs of having a chunk of her mandible removed, she was voraciously eating. The surgery itself came with lots of communication and again so much compassion. I didn’t believe Dr. Bolek when she said Penny would look normal and be able to eat easily but she was 100% correct. I am so grateful to her and the entire team for saving Penny and giving her many more years of life."
