""Sr. Tax Analyst" filed my simple joint return incorrectly. English is clearly not her first language, extremely difficult to understand. Her error results in an extra $900 I owe in taxes and now need to file an amended return. To make things worse, H&R Block is still taking their full preparation fee. Notified that my state return had arrived, however H&R Block took the entire amount as payment for their "service." Their "Satisfaction Guarantee" is a joke. Totally dissatisfied, will never return or recommend. A generic auto-response to this review from H&R Block will only solidify my contempt. 1 star is too generous."

"Ana was great she caught the blatant error in our taxes made by Amanuel. This man had us waiting 45 minutes after a 10:00 appointment, finally we went to Ana who promptly took good care of us. When Ana pointed out the error ($8000.00) made by Amanuel he became defensive. I am glad we have peace of mind insurance."

"Made an appointment online a week in advance. Was sent an email with the appointment confirmation and confirmation numbers. Arrived at location 15 minutes early and waited until 10 minutes past the appointment time. Nobody showed up. Called the phone number, got transferred several times. The lady on the phone took my name and other info, did not care about the confirmation email. She told me that number doesn't matter. I asked why give a number, she said maybe when you get inside they could ask for it. Really? Anyway did not complete the appointment, nor do I have plans on using H&R Block ever again, in the office or software. I have no need for a company that has that little respect for the customers."
