To give more context my dad has a hard time speaking English and this whole process/sentencing took over a year. Firstly my dad was never properly notified about court hearings and was literally always confused on what was happening , never did the attorney take the time to address the judge to let them know he had a hard time understanding,After his final hearing we needed help figuring out phone numbers and help knowing what actually needed to happen. his secretary was extremely rude and dismissive , I called her right after my dad left court oct22,23 to let her know what had happened and I gave her a phone number to figure out home detention she said ill figure it out we waited months…. (our grates error was to trust and wait) we had to always reach out and ask for updates. My dad nor myself never received a call or an email nothing! My father and I called almost weekly to get an update or an answer and were always told to wait and they haven’t answered (the courts) unfortunately this happened four weeks before his deadline Jan 5, 24 we started freaking out not knowing what would happen, I went to the extent to even tell the secretary that I would personally go every day to wait for Ryan to get an answer. That slightly motivated her to make two phone calls to later on just give up and tell us that no one would answer her (which was a lie because that’s same day I made a phone call to the number and got an answer)so I started calling and going to courts in Maricopa and in Tucson to find answers thank god we got through someone to help which trust me it was many calls and a lot of dead ends (which is why he was hired to help figure out everything) my father had to go submit paperwork that the attorney or his secretary could’ve submitted but decided not to. Till this day Jan 12,24 they haven’t made an effort to reach out or help us in any way I would run from this place especially if you don’t speak English or barely understand just save yourself the headache."
