"There are over 500 members. Come and see the variety of different ways to make jewlery. Learn how to cut rocks into slabs, grind rocks into any shape and polish them to reveal their beauty. The monitors will teach you how to use the equipment. There is also a silversmithing lab and faceting lab. OPLC is a fun place to go with lots of friendly people."

"Probably the BEST thing I have done since moving to Tucson almost 4 years ago. I wanted to join a fellowship that encouraged creativity, problem solving, and silversmithing. Oh and without breaking my bank. Not only did Old Pueblo Lapidary Club offer all this, they have a camaraderie amongst members that is the rock bottom best. I took a class from Bill C in metalsmithing in which I learned so many things in just a few short weeks that fit within my budget. The only negative thing I have to say is that I wished I had joined sooner."
