"In '07, I was arrested, after my daughter's boyfriend at the time had physically hurt me on 12 occasions, police hadn't taken any action because of "no visible marks"...he & my daughter claimed scratches that were actually from their cat were something I had done. In court, I was warned to plead "no contest" or I could be held for up to a year. I served a sentence. Now? They want MONEY to take the incident off Public Record! I'm having to live in a weekly rental, since "domestic violence" would disqualify me from renting anywhere else! WHAT'S WRONG WITH THIS COUNTRY?!"
