"My kids have been at this school for 8 years. We love the teachers, staff and curriculum . we dont live close by and it has been worth the commute! Love the music program, band and orchestra teachers. Very happy with our time here."
"We are loyal to Benjamin Franklin. The education my children are receiving is better than I could have hoped for. I've known this new principle for the last 7 years. He was my senior daughters 5th grade teacher! He went out of his way to ensure her success coming from a new school and state. He is always involved in the children and their eduction. He knows the kids by name and works well with students, facility and parents. I couldn't be happier with the changes and improvement they continue to do. My son can read at a 7th grade level, he writes in cursive at age 9 than I do! The school teaches core values and principles that are clacking in todays schools such as self discipline, perseverance, respect, responsibility for their actions, and an over all accountability for their actions. Thank you Benjamin Franklin!!"
"My kids have attended this school since kindergarten. My son is now in jr high and my daughter is in 5th grade. I used to love it. It was a great environment for the kids, it was strict but they still made learning fun. Over the last two years they have lost over 18 of the best teachers. Leaving them to hire rift raft teachers. The new principal (started this year) is condescending, rude, uncooperative and on a power trip. He's about the school, about the teachers and not about the students or parents. My daughter started to cry everyday about going to school. Sometimes it would start Sunday night. She was terrified of her teacher and always afraid of getting in trouble. He would not address the issue and basically told me he wasn't going to do anything about it. Your left having to deal with whatever the problem is. I pulled my daughter from this campus and would not recommend it to anyone. Statements like "figure it out yourself", "if I have to hear your voice one more time before lunch your going to be sorry" are uncalled for. They got too big too fast and lost focus on what they started out as and the core fundamentals of what the school used to be. 17 teachers left this school year....17! Steer clear!"
