"Literally came here on a whim on our drive back from Arizona to San Diego because this was on the border. I heard that dates and a date shake is a must-try in Arizona so we had to make this stop! My husband and I tried the date ice cream and the date shake and man that shake was good! Ice cream was too strong in date flavor so we wouldn't be able to finish a whole scoop. Good for a taste. That Date Shake was really good, and I could totally have finished the entire thing myself without sharing with my husband. Only downside was that I knew it had a lot of sugar so I controlled on the portion size there. Thickness was just right and didn't really give a brain freeze or anything like that. The store also had a really huge variety of dates - types I haven't even heard of - but I ended up buying the Medjool Dates after the guy working they told me those were the best kind. It's been awhile since I've had dates and these were so soft and fresh! I've heard how some can be really hard but these were perfect. I wouldn't mind going for another trip just to buy some more dates to take for my mom to India, because she is a major date fan! I also bought a souvenir shot glass from here. It was very hard finding souvenirs in Arizona. My husband also got a cute bag for his mom. This place really does have it all"

"Clean bathrooms !! Has a gas station with lots of drink and snack options !! The small store is attached to it as well as the small Pizza Hut and ice cream shop !!! I defiantly recommend this place for a stop !! It also has dog camels for your pet after a long road trip and you can even rent a lock while you go inside"

"They have a lot of data related stuff including food. It’s got a lot of Arizona type stuff as well if you know what I mean. A lot of knickknacks and stuff like that. Restrooms are clean, date farm nearby is cool to look at"
