"My husband and I have been going to your office for years. I really like the medical staff that you have and they are the only reason why I’ve continued coming. However, the front office staff and the office manager are quite the opposite! On one of my very first visits there I was given the wrong results. There’s been a few times where my insurance didn’t cover my entire bill, but never a phone call or a bill. And this last time, on Tuesday I called about 9 AM to get in asap because I wasn’t feeling well. I was told that the front office staff could not schedule me, rather, the office manager would need to call me back to schedule my appointment. When I called back today to ask about the issue, I was told I had a $45 dollar balance. And I was advised of this by the front office staff and not the office manager. Horrible treatment. One thing that the office manager and front office staff need to keep in mind, if they did their jobs correctly, make phone calls, follow up when there is a past due balance, treat people like they’d like their family members or themselves treated, they wouldn’t have these issues. Horrible staff!!"
"My mother is a patient at both offices... PA Shea is awsome. Both offices in east valley seem to have very competent office staff, appointments, prescriptions and referrals are always completed quickly and that means a lot."
"The front office staff is the only reason for this negative review. It’s the ONLY negative part of a rather positive experience visiting this office the last two days. I will never understand how Medical Facilities can keep terrible front office staff. It’s the most sensitive place for people to visit and their first experience should not be negative. These women don’t smile. Today, I came in and was just STARED AT. No greeting. When I walk into an office I try not to be rude and just start blabbing. I respect they have jobs to do and typically wait to be acknowledged. When I said I’m in for a blood draw, the woman POINTED to this clipboard, never spoke a word. That’s disgusting. I even tried to lighten the mood and laughed and said “was here yesterday but didn’t fast, so I had to come back!” Neither woman acknowledged that I spoke. A couple comes in less than 5 minutes after, that they must have known because they started cheering, one of them went out and hugged them and had a conversation with them. Trust me, I don’t expect hugs and all that, but that proves they can manage words and a smile but I wasn’t deserving of that? This was on my second visit today, but I’m not surprised because my first visit (yesterday) was the same. I said in my head, great, going to have to switch to another primary because it’s going to be another terrible experience. If I didn’t need to be carefully looked at due to my condition, if the doctor I visited wasn’t so caring, if Jamie that drew my blood wasn’t such an incredible person, I’d be out of there like I’m sure lots of others do, and get my lab work to take to someone else. I’ve been in customer service my whole life and greet every customer, answer every phone call, as if my name is on the front of that building. Front desk and phones are the front line and first impression for all businesses. Please help this front office staff understand that."
"BUYER BEWARE, EVEN IF YOU HAVE INSURANCE!! Not recommended and their rating clearly indicates the service is horrendous. This Dr office has the worst admin staff you can ever encounter, just lazy, incompetent, lacking ownership and rude bullies. They advertise what insurances they are in network, claim they verify insurance and collect in network copays. Then, bill you for out of network stating they didn't verify insurance and that is your responsibility. I have also witnessed them screw up appointments for elderly patients and blame it on the elderly. In what I witnessed, it was fully on them. Just sad that they treat people this way."
"I’m not very happy with my experience here. Went in to talk to the doctor about potentially having diabetes since I was showing a lot of the symptoms. She had me get my blood drawn so sent me back out to the waiting room to wait to get my blood drawn. I waited for 15 mins and realized the whole staff went to lunch without telling anyone in the waiting room. There were several other people in the room and were just as confused as me. Fast forward to my blood results. She told me I’m not a diabetic and that I was experiencing all these issues because I was breastfeeding. Several months later I was done breast feeding and still experiencing the same issue. So I got a second opinion and found I was pre diabetic. Just a little disappointed as I felt like I wasn’t heard and instead of trying to figure out the issue just dismissed it because I wasn’t “diabetic”"
