I was in the market for new insurance policy that was lateral to the policy I had with my TX insurance. "I was recently involved in a hit and run and I was ready for the insurance process to be a headache, but it was actually quite the opposite. The accident happened late on a Thursday, had me in a rental by the following Monday, and had the total amount that I would receive by that Friday. It ended up being a total loss and even though it was a 2014, I really didn't expect I would get as much as I did. I've heard horror stories and expected to get far less than what the car was worth. The valuation was fair and given the fact that my partner and I share a car, the car was worth all we received. We were given until the following Tuesday with the rental but she mentioned that if we needed it extended to just give her (Adriana) a call. Payment was released the following Tuesday (a week and a half after the accident). I was in my (new to me) vehicle on Wednesday, and they had no issue extending our rental by a couple of days. Needless to say, I am never changing insurance companies because this horrible situation was made so simple because of this company. Marc even called me a couple of weeks after the accident to check in and I was able to give him the info for the new vehicle and he sent me the updated insurance cards right after speaking with me. Every single person that I have had to interact with at Farmers has been so kind and helpful. I am so grateful that everyone in my vehicle walked away with no serious injuries and that this process was far simpler than I could have imagined.
