"I have been going here for about a year and a half. I say that loosely as I rarely need to go to the doctor, just for the yearly exam. I haven't been on a single medication for years and years. I have recurring shingles that re-appear every 5.5 months or so. Generally, it runs its course with no anti-viral or pain medication needed. This time, it spread to my abdomen so I have a roughly 11 x 6 inch belt around my lower abdomen. This is in addition to the site on my back. Those who have had shingles know that in the rank of pain, generally only burns, kidney stones and childbirth compare. Michelle Yoo did prescribe the anti-viral and Gabapentin, 100mg. I called the next day to tell them the Gabapentin was not providing any relief. 27 hours later, I received a return phone call telling me to take the medication, that was not working, more often. They made me feel like a druggie for asking for something stronger. I am a 60 year old accountant who they know takes no medication whatsoever. It was humiliating and a terrible experience. I only changed to them as my insurance at the time was Banner Aetna and my usual primary care doctor (who I had been with for 35 years) was not on that plan. They are all very nice. I was super surprised and disappointed by my experience, but I won't be back. It is cruel to allow someone to suffer like that with NO reason."
