"I simply cannot say enough nice things about this office and Dr. Katie Andrusaitis! The office was clean, the staff was so kind and Dr. Andrusaitis was the best doctor I’ve seen in Arizona. She was kind, caring, knowledgeable and really wanted to know what was going on. I can’t recommend her and this office enough!"

"Doctor Hsia is gone. He's nowhere to be found so I guess he's no longer practicing medicine or what? Was not informed of this by the admin side. They kept calling me for tests I don't need. When I called for a referral that is when I was told Dr. Hsia is not with Desert Grove Family Medical. Why weren't Hsia's patients informed of his leaving??! For roughly three years I have been a patient here. The staff used to be caring. We could all talk pleasantly to one another Often sharing a laugh or two. Now everyone, especially the front office staff are grumpy. They never look anyone in the eye. They never smile. The back office staff are the same. Even Doctor Hsai is nearing grumpiness. I didn't dare pester the referrals department. Today after almost three months of waiting for a referral I got a call, which I let go to voicemail, saying my referral was ready. What happens to everyone?"

"On my very first visit, the physician (Robert Babbel, DO) suggested, among other things, that I join a religious group when I told him I had mental health issues for which I wanted to seek treatment. I was absolutely floored to hear this from a medical professional. I just called about getting a vaccination (I've been too busy to prioritize finding a new provider). I was on hold for over 10 minutes before I heard a human. When I finally did, they were curt and unhelpful. I asked how many shots the vaccine required and they snappily replied, "I don't know..." I waited, thinking they were going to find out. Seconds passed and they didn't say anything else. I asked, "could you find out for me?" You could practically hear the eye roll in her tone when she finally responded with the answer. Her name was Autumn, but my experience tells me this is almost always a management issue. The long wait is a likely sign that they're understaffed, may not be hiring qualified people or providing sufficient training for the position, and/or paying a wage that doesn't adequately compensate medical admin assistants for the stress they endure (my partner is one, so I see and hear it second hand). I'm giving the benefit of the doubt to the individuals involved with my experiences, but this is the second unacceptable experience from the same location and I've only been there twice, which means it's highly improbable that these are isolated incidents. I'll definitely be making the time to find another facility for my medical care. I'd suggest anyone else to avoid this place as well."

"Dr. Albert Hsia is a great doctor. Not only has he taken great care of my health ( and my family) but also He is very understanding and listens to your concerns. He takes time with the patient to help them with their health issues! I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a primary doctor. I am so glad I chose Dessert grove family medical clinic and would highly recommend to anyone."
