"Update: Based on the owner's response, my partner has confirmed she will not be returning. You should be able to tell who it is soon. This was no mere idle threat. We know there are other studios - ones that are more trauma informed and aren't undergoing large behind-the-scenes changes. --- I don't know how this place is run, but I do know that it's making my partner very anxious due to the way she's been singled out and received some very TERSE corrections in her form. It's to the point where she is so anxious she's considering dropping from Dance of Arabia entirely. She doesn't want to feel singled out more, so she won't leave a review under her own account. Let me make this clear - I understand the owner is going through a hard time. I understand things are difficult. But to take out those stresses on a student is unacceptable and risks tarnishing your reputation as an instructor. CUT IT OUT. Treat my partner with a modicum of respect or she won't be returning."

"Belly dancing is a fun and unique way to stay fit, particularly by increasing balance and flexibility. Classes are small enough to cater to individuals, and Cathy is great at helping students perfect individual steps. For those that aren't ready to commit to a month of classes, the drop in classes are a great opportunity. Cathy also offers costumes and various herbal remedies for sale."
