Tom was always looking for ways to help me understand the mechanics of golf. After several lessons and lots of practice I won my very first Match Play Event in my flight, got third place in a Stroke play event, and won "Most Improved" by having lowered my handicap from a 42 to a 29! "I have golfed on and off for many years, just becoming more serious when retiring five years ago. I had taken lessons and clinics in the past without making much progress. After being a student with Golftec, North Scottsdale, Coach Tom Howell, I have seen a significant difference in my game. I now understand how to swing the club and why certain movements are important. My swing is not tour ready obviously but it has much more in common with the pro swings than when I first started. What has also been very beneficial to me has been the practice package. If you are going to play this game why not learn to do it correctly? It’s much more fun!
