"I’ve been training at Patriot Martial Arts Academy for a little over two years(machida karate two years, BJJ 1 year) now and I will say it’s hands-down, one of the best choices I’ve made in my adult life. Mr. Rhett Sandoval is the main instructor and coach of the main classes of (Brazilian jujitsu, Machida karate) and he is hands-down, one of the most knowledgeable people of martial arts you can know having several black belts in other forms of martial art. If you’re looking for a great teacher, it’s him. When it comes to the Brazilian jujitsu part of Patriot Martial Arts, I would say it’s full of the most technical and coolest guys you can know(with most competing),the classes are informational and intense but all around a awesome time and a great work out. The Machida karate class involves MMA techniques with a karate base. so unlike traditional karate you also work on takedowns,submissions, and helpful self-defense techniques. So if you were looking for an MMA training gym in the Queen Creek area with awesome training partners, this is the class for you. With both Machida karate and Brazilian jujitsu having adult and child classes, It is the perfect place for family and friends to train. if you were looking for a martial arts gym, then I highly recommend Patriot Martial Arts Academy."
