"I stumbled upon White 2 black Academy by chance and luck. It was at a time when I was at a cross road of change in my personal life. I chose to quit drinking and get my life on track. My Professor’s from the day I walked in have been a bright light in this dark world and have supported me on this. On and off the training mats. Professor Italo and his wife Professor Sara have built this community of kind professional students. The atmosphere is so amazing the camaraderie between us students are building relationships not only as training partners but as friends who lift each other up. The instructions are world class highly detailed and also easy to understand. You can grow and not feel lost on the movement's. I have personally Grown so much in the short amount of time I have spent with White 2 black Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy . On and off the training mats. If you’re nervous or on the fence about training don’t be come as you are and see your life transform before your eyes. You will gain confidence, loose weight, strength, cardio and a community of like minded people who will hold you accountable and amazing friends. "I have nothing but great things to say about the kids/youth classes! The instructors are wonderful and the classes are well-planned. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, which is evident by the way the kids and teachers treat each other during the class. My kids love going and are learning so much. Highly recommend!!"

"Joining White 2 Black is one of the best decisions I've made in a while. I live a pretty sedentary life but have always been interested in martial arts, so on a whim decided to take a chance here. And man I'm glad I did! Professors Italo and Sara are great- exceptionally nice, knowledgeable, and patient. You can tell they love being here and teaching BIJ. The other students have also been very welcoming and friendly. Most of us are relatively new, and it's pretty cool to be part of this growing community learning together. I can't really compare this to other schools, but can say that am happier, healthier, and I really look forward to continuing my journey at White Black."

"In 3 words: Friendly, professional, and patient In detail: this gym is incredibly friendly & family oriented, they are very welcoming of everyone. Once you join this gym you become more than just a member. They try to hold family oriented events (for Halloween they did a costume theme to bring kids) & the members will invite each other to go watch fights and such. They also have different types of classes, such as: mixed levels, kids, fundamentals, & even women’s only. If you’re a female and shy/scared, I recommend starting with the women’s only class then moving into the mixed classes. The professors are also professional and definitely know what they are doing, they also know how to tailor to different sizes/levels. They are also very patient and will recommend different things to do to help you achieve your goals. They are also on the cheaper end for most BJJ gyms."

"Jiu-jitsu is amazing. But what makes it even better is having amazing Professors. I bring my friends kids to the youth classes at 4:30pm with Professor Sara, and they love it. They knew nothing about it have learned so much in a short amount of time. It is even helping in other aspects of life as well. As for myself working with Professor Italo is always a learning opportunity. There is so much to learn and they make the classes fun. If you are a beginner or advanced, this place has it all. Experience, patience, and dedication. Always feel like I learned something new!!"
