"My son is nine and after trying a few different martial art styles and studios he decided to go with Akido of Scottsdale. The studio is in a great location and very clean. The Sensei’s are very organized and routine. They are very good at explaining instruction on what to do and also explain how these techniques could and would be applied in real life. When the students are broken up into pairs to practice, the Sensei’s are all very proactive in walking around making corrections and helping the students out individually. They also have older students with higher belts helping out in class. It is great to see a studio that is taking the time to teach students the meaning of discipline, purpose and control in a positive environment."
