"Over the course of six weeks, I have tried to arrange a referral between my husband's dermatologist's office (Regency Dermatology) and the Arthritis Center five times. The first time, it was done electronically. (1) In follow up, I learned it had to be faxed and received a fax number. I gave that to Regency and the referral was faxed (2). In follow up, I learned it that was the main fax number, where hundreds of faxes are received, so I was given the fax number for the Arthritis Center. I gave that to Regency and the referral was faxed again. (3) In follow up, I learned the referral still wasn't in the system and the appointment couldn't be made, so I asked Regency to try again at the Arthritis Center fax number. (4) In follow up, I learned the referral still wasn't in the system, so I contacted Director Gina Schwarzburg (Director) and received her direct fax number, which I gave to Regency. (5) As of today, the referral still isn't in their system and the first appointment can't be made. After five attempts, it is obvious the University of Arizona Arthritis Center is either extremely disorganized or they just don't care. Either way, I wouldn't recommend donations to their organization. I wouldn't suggest this as a place to send any human for care. If they can't process a single referral, how can they possibly be trusted with the care of human beings? Maybe someday, we'll hear from the Arthritis Center. Until then, we're taking our healthcare (and money) elsewhere."
