"My wife got into a fender bender on her way to take our child to his appointment so she ended up being 20 minutes late. They refused to see them saying they were already listed as a no call no show and they couldn’t see them until Friday. No MVP care at all. What a JOKE of a staff."
"I've been a customer for over 4 years. The Doctor's and triage are great but the office staff is terrible. It takes forever to get someone on the line for an appointment, and when they finally answer they hang up. It happened to me last year and now its happening again. I got hung up on 3 times while I wrote this review. In 2021, I also had an incident with my child, who was under 2yrs old at the time. He was a Covid baby and we were blessed to work from home during his infant year. So we didn't go out and he didn't get used to a mask. They asked me to put a mask on him and handed me a kids mask. I tried and he cried and fought me. I waited and tried again multiple times. Then the staff member very rudely told me that he needed to wear a mask or we needed to leave. I told her, I was trying to keep it on him but he isn't used to them, so he was taking it off. I wasn't ignoring her request but its a small office and they could clearly see I'm fighting with a 1 yr old. Ridiculous. In 2023, I had an incident where they scheduled an appointment and confirmed the appointment 2 times via voicemail and also via email. I showed up to his appointment and they told me we didn't have anything scheduled. They made me wait 2 hours to be seen at the next available slot. I showed them the emails and voicemails but they were still rude. I asked to speak to the manager but she was also rude. They need to clear that entire front office with staff that can provide great customer service."
"Went this morning because our daughter had an ear infection. Called at 8 am, got us in at 10! I cannot say enough about how attentive and AMAZING Dr. Whoopi is!!!! My daughter absolutely loved her as did I! That woman genuinely cares about her patients and I will be taking my child back to see her every time from this point forward! Staff was friendly and attentive! We really did have a great experience (especially considering we woke up to a very rough morning.)"
"Extremely disappointed in the new company that bought MVP kids care. I recently went to a doctor visit and asked for the toy prizes for my daughter after the visit but I was told the new company took them away. It’s ridiculous how they would take such thing away from the kids! I have been a patient at MVP since I was little, and always remember my visits ending with a toy prize so as an adult it was lovely seeing my own daughter receive the same care and prizes after a visit. It eased the fear in kids to visit the doctor. Now that this is taken away it truly makes me think the new company cares only about the money and not the children!"
"I was referred here by a friend, who has been bringing her children here for well over 14 years. What I will say is the doctors have been a delight! They are very seasoned, detailed, and actually listen. Dr Wells/Dr.Thomas are amazing. On the other hand the office staff SUCK! They’re rude, impatient, not sympathetic at all, dismissive, and they’re not pleasant to interact with! The nurses? nurse assistants? are okay, very young. Some know what they’re doing, others just rush you in a room and aren’t interactive at all! I feel that if you’re going to work in pediatrics you should know how to work with children in general. I wish I could remember the young ladies name that I just encountered with a few weeks ago, she was AMAZING. Now that’s ONE out of maybe 6 since we’ve started going here, which is actually disappointing."
