"If you’re looking for a place to jab your kid with vaccines, ask irrelevant questions, and just check a box so they can get paid - this is a great spot. If you’re actually looking for professional advice, medical knowledge and care for your child, look elsewhere. I saw multiple physicians in this practice (Dr. V, Cabalona, Marco, Holley) throughout the first few months of my sons life through now, he just turned 1. My son had a severe flat head that I was told by every single doctor here it would “round out on its own”. I constantly had a bad feeling that wasn’t the case. I had to get his torticollis diagnosed elsewhere and go out of my way to talk Dr. Marco into writing a referral for PT. I also asked her if I should put my son in a helmet to which she said “I don’t have any data but I don’t see many l older kids with flat heads”. After cycling through 5-6 doctors in this practice, I finally went to PCH where they actually MEASURED my sons head and said he had a severely flat head and didn’t know why this was never addressed with me at his normal care. Now we’ve been in a helmet for over six months and his head will likely never be normal despite two helmets. I was a first time mom and this is their job to be educated on these common issues and provide guidance, not blow you off at every turn. After one year, I’ve yet to receive any helpful advice, information, or care from the doctors in this practice and have moved my son to another office."
"This pediatrician location was a disappointment for me and my newborn. After leaving my newborn appointment I had to look for a different pediatrician because the check up they did was less than 10 minutes and they checked jaundice with a small device. I come to find out with my new pediatrician that it should have been tested with bloodwork and the newborn check up this location was NOTHING compared to my new location. They only listen to his heart and lungs, checked his private part and that was it. Doctor Marco sounded very annoyed when she walked in and seem to just want to get through the appointment as quick as she could and did not interact with the baby at all. It was truly a disappointment here."
"Do not take your children here! what a joke! first appointment was great wanted to change primary doctor to be close to my home because I just moved. I will not return to pleasant pediatrics! I will continue to drive to the other side of town to see the family doctor. I filled out all the intake forms with all information about my sons headaches and the medication he has been on for the last five years. its an antihistamine! not one person in that office put it in his chart, or knew what it was like all those computers don't have google. I told DR. Marco he needed a refill and she would be his new primary care. a week had past and no refill was sent to the pharmacy I put on the paper and confirmed with the triage. I called the staff was so rude told me to call my doctor from another state that we haven't lived in for three years! Rita told me to call my neurologist from another state, my son had a telamed appointment here in AZ at PCH. I wrote this on the intake form! that doctor said its a low dose antihistamine with little to no side effects and said to continue to use the medication until he grows out of the headaches. I also provide his pediatrician in Louisiana who started him on the meds gave the name, phone number address and fax number and wrote his name on the release because I signed everything before I left so his doctors could get his medicals records. Rita and her attitude called me to inform me that Dr. Marco will not prescript his medication because she doesn't know what it is. so either it's a lack of communication from the staff or a lazy Doctor whom doesn't feel the need to educate her self to help treat patients. either way I will not return! and even though this office it with in walking distance of my home, I will drive to the other side of town and use unnecessary time and gas to see a doctor whom actually educate him self on the medication and call his prior doctor! by the review with in the last month 10 month on here they need to review the staff in this office. I was referred by a family member and never looked at the reviews. when I called to make the appointment I said my son needs a refill, they staff asked if he was up to date on his vaccines and this would be his new primary doctor. - this was a waste of time! and Rita was so rude she even felt the need to voice her personal opinion on my son health care needs. she is a paper pusher and had she done her job of simple data entry im sure all this could have been avoided. this was three days of phone calls I gave her plenty of time to fix her mistake and do her job I was nice enough and told her we will not return. and charged my insurance for two medical diagnostic? if they did any of that why couldn't she refill his prescription?"
"Trying to get your kids medication refilled here is an absolute joke. I called 5 days before he was out and again twice the day before he was out and they still didn't fill it. And now he will be out tomorrow (Sunday) and Monday, because I won't be able to get a hold of them until midday Monday. And who even knows if they will efill them then. We have had nothing but refill issues with this clinic since we started going there a few months ago and I cannot imagine we will be going with them much longer. Providers are so nice and great, but seriously this is not worth the headache every 25-30 days."
