Zippy Shell

"HIDDEN FEES!! My fiancé and I got a Zippy Shell for our move from AZ to CT. I was told the complete total would be $3,000 plus the one month storage fee. I asked if there was a charge for fuel multiple times which I was told on multiple phone calls there was not which I confirmed again every time so it will just be the $3,000 and the one month of storage which I was told yes and it was repeated back to me. Once the second half of the payment went through I noticed it was much higher than what was agreed. When calling they denied I was told this (which I requested for the phone call conversation or to have them review them). When I spoke to someone once I noticed the charge I was told that, “The sales people aren’t required to tell customers about the fuel charge”, even if I ask?? I was offered back half the fuel charge but once again not what we agreed upon as I would’ve went with a different company. The drivers were also extremely late on all the drop offs and pick ups and I was given incorrect times every time I definitely don’t recommend and wish I would’ve gone with a different company."

"I would like to rate them higher, but this is for the people. The company is overpriced and sucks. The people however have went out of their way to be helpful. All except the guy who setup my account in Florida. He never answers the phone or responds to emails. Would I recommend them? No I wouldnt..."

"We explicitly told them our needs. The moving crew showed up and were terrific. That's where it ended. We were short space and now they're charging an ADDITIONAL $5,000!!!!!!!! DO NOT USE thus scam of a business. Never again. And, we used them in the past. So you would think as a repeat customer, they would be on their game."
