"I was referred to Tuxedo through PODS, and honestly I cannot say enough good things about these guys. I will admit after I booked movers, I read reviews and did get a little nervous, HOWEVER Nick and Izzy did such a wonderful job it’s hard to believe. These guys loaded my POD in under 4 hours, with 3 flights of steps, and not a close walk to the POD. Their attitudes and sheer work ethic really impressed me. Ultimately I moved from the West Coast to the East Coast and not one single thing was broken, and it took under an hour to unload, simply because they methodically and logically loaded my POD. Everything was packed tight. As a suggestion in reading other reviews if something is important to you package it or break it down this makes it easier on your movers but also allots you much more space! ALSO INVEST IN STRETCH WRAP! Thank you Nick and Izzy for the great job you did!"

"I hired Tuxedo Moving to pack my POD on 6/22/22. While unpacking it (8/16/22), I found that my media console was stacked perpendicularly on top of my living room table. After taking the media console down, a large hole was noted in the living room table. They could have stacked it parallel for a better weight distribution or just laid it down since there was an abundance of empty space in the POS. But they didn’t. This is negligence - which they said is ok since negligence was something I ok’d in the waiver. They claim the damage is due to shifting items but everything was in its proper place when the POD was opened and no other high value, easily breakable items (tv, mirrors, glass bar cart) had damage likely because they didn’t have a heavy furniture item placed on it inappropriately. Also, as POD packers they should pack in such a way where shifting isn’t an issue since most PODS will be moved. There hasn’t been a simple apology or morsel of empathy. I’m unsure why PODS recommends them but you’d be better off trying another company."

"Was referred through PODS. The movers were nice guys however they didn't move 4 pieces out of my house that they were instructed to move. Called their dispatcher and she was completely unhelpful and rude. I am stuck having to move items I already paid to have moved. I would avoid this company. Such an easy fix for them - guess my business and review aren't important to them."

"Warning! do not use this moving company! VERY unprofessional and rude company! PODS referred me to Tuxedo Moving to load my PODS and I scheduled with them. I cancelled my move because I needed a total of 3, 16 foot PODS. PODS informed me that they only had 1, 16 foot POD available for my long distance move. I had to hire a different moving company that could accommodate moving and storing my furnished 3,000 sq. ft. home. So I called Tuxedo moving 3days in advance to let them know I that I had to cancel because of the issue with PODS not having any containers available. I was immediately given a nasty attitude by Charlene. She said she would have to charge me $50 for cancelling. I told her that there is no where in the invoice that I was emailed or on the website that states if you cancel Tuxedo Movers will charge you $50. And I was not told this verbally on the phone when I scheduled the order. Charlene yelled into the phone I'm not going to argue with you and hung up the phone in my face while I was still talking. My credit card company stated that if Tuxedo Movers attempted to charge my card, it would be considered an unauthorized charge and would not go through and not to worry. because there was nothing in writing stating a cancellation charge and nothing was signed."

"From the first phone call to find out about their service to the final step of loading our POD this company was extremely professional. They lived up to their estimate without any hidden cost or fees. All fees were told ahead of time & explained in detail. Their communication was excellent & all scheduled times were met. Victor & Andrew were the two young men that were scheduled to load our POD. They were on time, clean & neat in appearance. Their professionalism & knowledge in loading our POD exceeded our expectations. We were borderline if all of our belongings were going to fit in the POD. While Andrew bought everything out to the POD, Victor was able to visualize & fill up every little spot. Can’t say enough about the company & its employees. Will use & refer this company in the future."
