"Unfortunately My review needs to be changed following my last few visits. While Dr.Siegel was at this practice everything was great. However under Dr.Leonni's care she has been rude, she has contradicted various statements regarding treatment, ignored questions I had called about to see if it was related to my MS amongst other issues. Today during my latest visit, aside from her being rude, contradicted various things she previously told me and essentially said she is no longer scheduling follow up visits for me unless I call them to take their infusion medication. Keep in mind the delay on this infusion was because of their advisement regarding infections regarding other medical issues I have that I should get taken care of first. Today it was okay for anything to be done as long as I was getting that infusion. When I got approved for the infusion they called me 7 times to schedule for a visit but when I had a question regarding another medical issue to see if it had to do with my MS I was ignored after calling twice about it before going to the ER. Dr.Leonni herself said that she got the message but it was a Primary care issue not related to MS so she never contacted me back. I feel absolutely sorry for anyone that has to speak to her either in a professional or social setting in any way."
"BE AWARE! Be aware before you go here that you will be treated very poorly by Dr deleoni and her staff. You will be charged for a whole bunch of tests that you do not need. You will be injected with medication that she gets money for promoting. And if you stand up for yourself she will be extremely aggressive with you. I have heard her chew out both her staff, and her patients. I was given an injected medication that she had a sample of, she said that there are absolutely no allergens I need to be worried about, and no sode effects. She didn't take the time to explain what the medication was. She told me it would not interact with my other medical conditions. She told me all these grandiose things, and before I had the ability to think about whether putting this medication into my body was a good idea, her staff came by and injected it in me almost forcefully. I had no time to think it over. And I have been having an allergic reaction to it for a while. It has affected my mood. It has affected my sleep. I have had hives... And I have had to see my primary care to take care of this situation. If my allergy to a component in the medication had been worse, I might have ended up in the ER in critical condition. I have been with this practice for many years while a different doctor worked here. Now that this other doctor is gone, I will not be going back. I refuse to see Dr deleoni because she is a terror. She has no bedside manner. She doesn't care about anything but money. I don't like the way she treats her staff nor her patients. Take all the reviews seriously before you make your decision to go here."
"In the pursuit of quality care I followed Dr. Siegel to Vita Medica from Western Neuro, and while l have zero complaints about Dr. Siegel or the quality of his care, there is clearly plenty to complain about with this practice. From day one, it became apparent that the majority of the office is staffed by friendly dedicated caring professionals. Sadly I've been snapped at by the staff on multiple occasions. They can often be downright rude and demanding over the phone, especially if it involves modifying appointment times/dates. Over the years I've attributed this to what appears to be a revolving door of high turn over and even poor practice leadership. IMHO: The far worst offender is one of the associates, Dr. De Leonni, who despite having an impressive resume, routinely conducts herself apparently without remorse while being extreamely caustic and often even toxic, mostly while being overtly bombastic when publicly attacking the staff. Unfortunately her verbal abuse isn't limited to the mistreatment of the staff alone, Dr. De Leonni isn't exactly shy about publicly showing off her social bankruptcy. I've personally observed and overheard her verbally attacking patients who dared to criticize or complain, an abnormal behavioral theme in which she exhibits zero efforts at discretion. Honestly she's a professional embarrassment to the entire practice. Once Dr. Siegel departs here, I'll actively leave as well. I'd rather be treated by a veterinarian then be mistreated by this socially challenged malcontent. While I can't attest to De Leonni's medical skills, her lack of basic social skills is seriously concerning, even to the point of being alarming. Despite the attempted portrayal of normal, there are some major problems at Vita Medica Institute. If in need of quality healthcare, I would suggest you find a alternative care provider. Oddly if you read the reviews, my review and observations aren't exactly an isolated incident. Gee l wonder what's the common denominator here? I wonder if she's even aware that the "P" in PMS doesn't stand for PERMANENT!"
"I have to say, I have had the best experience with Dr DeLeoni and Nora. They have listened, advocated and treated me with professionalism and respect. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, and have to say, I will continue my care with them as long as possible. I used to belong to another large, well known practice on River Rd and they were absolutely awful!!"
