"Absolutely look elsewhere. Bedside manner is awful and unless you are a cash pay patient bringing in the big bucks, he won't listen to concerns or spend more than 5 minutes with you. I went to him after he did my second hernia repair and told him I was sure the mesh had failed and that I was in pain. He told me to go to physical therapy. I sought an actual surgeon who spent time with me to find Ferrara's botched mesh job was "rolled like a burrito" and I had small fragments embedded in my stomach muscles. I regret ever stepping foot into his office."

"I would not recommend Dr Ferrara. He is non responsive when it comes to customer care and does not return phone calls. My own Dr who is a Phoenix “Top Doc” took him off her referral list because she’s had so many complaints from her other patients."

"Dr. Ferrara was my surgeon to remove an invasive malignant melanoma from my ear. I cannot sing high enough praise for this man and I wish I could find more doctors like him. He gave a thoughtful consultation with me bedside to discuss how to balance the risk vs. reward associated with a lymph node biopsy. Surgically, he did an fantastic job getting clear margins with minimal disfigurement to my ear. He gave me excellent council and through the hospital web site shared my pathology reports immediately as they were available. I found him to be quite compassionate and a great communicator with both myself and my family. I highly recommend Dr. Ferrara."

"I am unable to recommend Dr. Ferrara. He recently did double mastectomy on my 83 year old Mother. As for the quality of the work, I have no idea, nothing to compare it to. Two weeks after surgery, massive infection. He acts like he is doing us a favor even talking to us. Patronizing. Can't get off the phone fast enough. I believe an already challenging, horrible experience has been made worse. Very disappointed."

"Love Doc Ferrara! He was referred to me by a friend that also lifts at the Gym. She said he was amazing and that was true. He was awesome. Got me right in to take care of a hernia that I incurred sometime during my lifting. Recovery was easy and I am back 100%. Love Doc Ferrara and would def recommend him to anyone that needs a real doc!"
