Reviews
"This review is for the 4th Avenue spring street fair. I'm from out of town and did not know anything about the street fair. I'm afraid I was hoping for more art, a lot more. A fair with commercial booths selling imports or doors and windows is just not worth the time."
"Dec. 2022 A really good crowd at the street fair this year!! I hope everyone supported the artists. Some very unique items and wonderful people."
"This is such a fun outdoors activity to take your family too. You can see all the beautiful art work from local and non local artist. You can also enjoy the many different food choices from Chinese, bbq, Mexican, and Greek, and more."
"Fourth Avenue should be a fun, interesting place to shop and hang out. It was our first visit, and it seems like Fourth Avenue should have a lot to offer with its shops and restaurants. At first glance, it looks like one of those fun, quaint downtown areas. But as we were dining at one of its restaurants for lunch and afterward walking up and down the street, it was really not possible to enjoy the experience. Even at midday, we clearly experienced an oppressive demonic aura here that we have not experienced to the same extent elsewhere in Tucson. There were many expressions of a spiritual principality who hates humankind and who enslaves people so that they are not free to love and care about others. It was evident in a myriad of ways... ...in how we were treated by the proprietor of the restaurant where we had lunch. His rudeness and impatience while explaining menu options was not the typical indifference that most people show one another, or even the typical impatience of someone being short with a difficult customer or having a bad day. There was a barely restrained dark hate in his eyes, and his body language was as if he was a puppet possessed by a evil being. ...in the bondage we saw in many people that we passed while walking down the street. We did not find people who are free in their hearts. So many people were noticeably under a very dark menacing cloud. ...in the beautiful garden hangout areas on the East side of the street that were all inaccessible, locked behind oppressive iron bars, taunting passers-by with a false promise of peaceful rest and enjoyment. ...in the somewhat narrow sidewalks in front of some of the shops that at times makes it uncomfortable because you can’t stop without risking getting in someone’s way, even though at lunch hour the sidewalks aren’t overly crowded. ...in the blank, lifeless, zombie-like expressions on the faces of U of A students who were walking back and forth to the housing located just to the West of Fourth Avenue. Despite the lack of smiles and genuine kindness, we did enjoy exploring the interesting shapes/types of locks hung on metal art sculptures placed periodically along the walkways, and were encouraged when our daughter noticed a rainbow-colored crosswalk that is a reminder that God will never again destroy the earth with water, no matter how wicked we humans become."
"Historic and fun place to go. From playing pinball to eating world class cuisine, live music or just people watching the merchants that make Tucson's 4th Ave their home are well worth visiting. AND, there are loads of events too! Street Fair, Mermaid Parade, car shows ...something for everyone."
