Reviews
"Second time taking this course. The format is straightforward to use, the instructors are great, and the 24 hours of post-Zoom learning are easy to fly through."
"Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this school. They pay their instructors poorly, and it is quite common for them to cancel classes at the last minute - forcing you to attend make up sessions before the class end date. If the make up sessions do not work with your schedule, you are either out of luck - or they will charge you $150 to join another session. In addition, each class is taught by a different instructor - there is no consistency. Try studying at one of the many community colleges that offer EMS training. Not only are they cheaper - you will always have the same instructor(s), and community colleges also offer the same variety of formats including weekends, accelerated, and traditional."
"Classes were easy to sign up for β¦.pretty reasonable prices. The zoom portion is long but well done and the professor had witty banter. The online portion is full of videos and not death by power point. No complaints at all and would recommend this program"
"This is my second time renewing my EMT certification through EMS University and I cant say enough good things about this program. Very knowledgeable and approachable instructors. Recertifying through the virtual instructor led course option is extremely helpful for my busy schedule and very convenient. Tech/program support is also beyond helpful. 5/5 stars and I will continue to come back and use EMS University whenever I need to."
"Stay away from this place. I signed my wife up for one of their courses and it has been an absolute terrible experience. She is enrolled in the MWF night classes and they have missed several nights due to no instructor being available. This seems to be a common theme lately with this school based on other reviews. At this time there was at least 4 evenings that I am aware of that they missed or had half a class. They are very far behind but are still expected to complete the class by the end date even though it is the schools fault due to their lack of preparation and no fault of the students . There is no way to make up the week and a half or two weeks that were missed in the less than four they have left. There is no set plan to get this class the missing hours and to get them caught up. There is no communication and the fact that they have outsourced their support team means you will get zero help aside from the single admin that works there and she is over worked so good luck getting any help. In fact they double charge me for the initial registration fee and will not give me that money back. I will be submitting formal complaints to the state agencies about this company and I urge anyone thinking about going here DO NOT ENROLL HERE."
