Fred Astaire Dance Studios - Paradise Valley

"I am writing this review for Jillian, who was my wife and my dance instructor for about five or six lessons in late 2023. First of all, I want to say that my son was supposed to have taken this beginner course, but he was too busy. So, I filled in and signed up to get up to speed for his wedding. Anyway, Jillian has been so professional and courteous to us. We learned five or six different dance steps, and she was very easy to learn from. She is an expert instructor and knows all dance moves. She really cared for us and made every effort to make us feel comfortable with her while making sure we were always dancing with the correct posture and frame that was necessary. She is a true Professional at her craft and we got pretty darn good however with our crazy work schedules as well as my bad back and left arm constant pain we have now stopped our classes. I would highly recommend Jillian and Fred Astaire for any dancing needs. If I could give more than five stars, I would."

"I started taking lessons here with my boyfriend in June of 2015 as a birthday gift and have fallen in love with ballroom dance. We are loving our experience at the Paradise Valley studio! It is a welcoming and encouraging community with friendly and knowledgeable instructors that can help you at whatever experience level you are at and help you with whatever goals you want to reach, whether that is learning how to social dance, perform choreography, or compete. I have had lessons taught by each of the instructors and they are all wonderful to work with. Growing up as an athlete I experienced a lot of negative coaching situations, so the positive coaching atmosphere means more to me than I can express. If you want to be pushed, the instructors will push you and will help you learn to be the best dancer you can be. It is a great atmosphere to spend time in and I always look forward to my time in the studio."
