"If I could give Saia zero stars I would. I could not be less impressed with their punctuality, dependability, or procedure for resolving an issue. I had parts being shipped to Phoenix, AZ with them from southern CA. It is one state away, about a 6 hour drive. They shipped out on Monday, supposed to arrive Wednesday at 11am-3pm. I orchestrated moving some shifts around to ensure our maintenance team would be available to do the repair on Thursday. Here I am, Thursday, without my order, and a crew of guys I called in early with nothing to do. When I contacted them to see if I could just come pick it up from their dock in Phoenix, they said they had to contact the shipper to approve an added fee for us to come pick it up. A FEE!! So, I have to pay a fee, to pay one of my own guys to drive over and pick up my order, all because SAIA can't meet the deadline they promised? What kind of business is that? I cannot wrap my head around how a business would think it is a good idea to charge a fee to fix THEIR MISTAKE! Next time I order anything, you can believe I will ensure that this company has no hand in the shipping whatsoever. What a joke."
