"To whom it my concern, I am writing to express my concern about the recruitment process for the OTR position at New Legend. I recently applied for this position and was disappointed with the way my application was handled. I have seven plus years of OTR experience all driven safely and in accordance with FMSCA ELD requirements. I had a medical issue and lost my CDL and then I went ahead and did all the required testing and got it back. Now I only have 4 months of experience from the last company that I had to quit because of personal family reasons and also not happy with the safety of the last company. I also told the recruiter I use a CPAP machine which I would think companies would appreciate since it really helps my sleep and deal with changing hours of over the road driving. The recruiter did not know if the trucks had inverters to use this machine so I would not run to work anyway. I am a qualified candidate for this position. I am confident that I have the skills and knowledge necessary to be successful in this role. However, the recruitment process has made me question whether [company name] is a company that I want to work for. I am urging you to review and improve your recruitment process. A positive recruitment experience is essential for attracting and retaining top talent. I hope that you will take my feedback seriously and make necessary changes. Does experience not matter or would you rather have someone with 6 months or a year of experience when I have 7. Plus proven years of loyal service.
