"While I can't speak for other programs, I must say that the radiography ( X-ray) program has an All-Star staff beyond comparison. When I decided to return to school after being away for seven years, I wasn’t sure school was going to be right for me but I needed a change. Enrolling in this program turned out to be one of the best decisions of my life, and I have never looked back. The instructors in the radiography program are nothing short of exceptional, and they have truly made a difference in my life and career. Jeff, the Program Director, is an invaluable resource. His advice is trustworthy and reliable, and he guides students to the right path. Jolene, the Clinical Director, has an amazing talent for pushing you to become a better person without putting you in overwhelming situations. Kristen, the Radiography Instructor, is like a caring mother to everyone. Her unwavering support and approachability create an environment where you always have someone to turn to, especially during challenging times. I could go on and on about the instructors, as they have a tons of qualities that make them exceptional educators. Thanks to the amazing instructors I had, a demanding program like radiography becomes manageable and even enjoyable. I have never encountered teachers as passionate and committed as them. Their guidance and mentorship have been invaluable, and I'm filled with gratitude for the positive impact they've had on my life. To anyone contemplating a career in the medical field or wondering which program to choose, I can't recommend this radiography program enough. It is undoubtedly challenging, but the instructors provide all the resources and you’ll never feel like you don’t have the resources to succeed. I just graduated and I'm looking forward to an amazing career ahead of me."
"Warning to students and parents. This school has a ridiculously strict policy about missing a single clinical. Does not matter if it was unintentional and does not matter if you currently have great grades. One no-call/ no show and you are terminated from the program. Sound crazy? Call and ask. Absolutely true. As parents, we encouraged our daughter to attend this school, and now a kid that had a great GPA all through high school and was really thriving is devastated because she wasted the last five months. They did offer to let her reapply for the next program IN 8 MONTHS. I don’t know how they can sleep at night. I'll also add that they then sent her a bill for $9,000.00"
"This school saved my life. I went back to school after a divorce. Trying to raise three kids and emotionally drained I did t have the time to try Pima college for nursing. I graduated with honors in the RN program. When I attended there the RN PROGRAM was semi new and kinks needed to be worked out. All schools have some issues whether it’s the University of Arizona or Pima college. But all the nurses I know that have graduated from there are awesome and doing wonderful things . I have a few that went straight to become nurse practitioners."
"I do NOT recommend this nursing school. You end up teaching yourself and receive a poor education for 40k tuition. This school has a very negative, disorderly environment. I witnessed some very unprofessional things from staff. As a result, students are always intimidated or stressed. They “terminate” a lot of students leaving them in debt and without a degree. Shockingly hypocritical for a school that tries to pride themselves on compassion and empathy. Seems they honestly don’t care about you as a student or person because they make money regardless."
"FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE BBB AS WELL!! DO NOT INVEST IN THIS SCHOOL!!! I cannot state that enough. IF YOU ARE A VETERAN, STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCHOOL. All they want is your VA money. When I informed the school that I had been unemployed for 5 months and needed my pell grant money to pay for my internet to continue my courses they blatantly told me that I needed to go somewhere else to complete my classes. If I had money for gas then I would have money for internet. For "college educators" they didn't seem to pick up on that. If your a veteran all they care about is when the VA will pay them. They are holding back my federal grant money because the VA hasn't paid them yet. ALL THIS SCHOOL CARES ABOUT IS GETTING THEIR MONEY! If they cared about the student then they might have worked with me. Another reason to stay away from this joke is that they don't even help you find a job after taking 40k plus from you for "education". The online professors just reuse the same assignments that they have been using so I don't understand why they keep getting paid to be a professor. I have one regret in my life and that is ever wasting my earned GI Bill on these jokers. I don't even have a job in the field and never did even though I applied for 3 years. No legitimate Doctors office will take a degree from this place seriously. STAY AWAY FOR YOUR OWN BENEFIT."
