Esperero Canyon Middle School

"Esperero Canyon School staff members are the most rudest people I’ve ever met. Most of the teachers are inconsiderate of your feelings towards the harsh things they say about your work and about you as a person. It’s also sad to come home to my mom telling me that the principal called her telling her how I present the school as “un-youthful” by the way I look. Although in the student handbook it says under Dress and Appearance “ECMS encourages students to take pride in their attire as it relates to the school setting”. Sorry that it’s under my control that I look older than everyone else, it’s just apart of growing up :). I’ve had to help my own friends through their depression because when they tried seeking help from the councelors, all they did was call their parents so the school didn’t have to deal with it. I’ve had multiple experiences where I’ve lost personal things from inside my pencil pouch and most of the students at this school steal, so trust no one (*_*). The best thing about this school is when you walk into the front office only to get a glum and annoyed stare from the office ladys just to remind you that your day is going to be lurid. Worst three years of my life we’re spent here, so I would save yourself now and not attend this school filled with vicious teachers and students. Also snakes are on campus a lot so beware."

"Great school, nice kids and if you stay on top of work, the learning is great. Teachers are good for the most part. It seems sometimes that all teachers of one subject tend to all have a certain attitude towards students. All in all really great"

"The lunch here is great! Finding mold in mac and cheese is just an amazing experience and chef bob really knows how to program a microwave. Just gee-whiz he can push those buttons fast. The principal's name is always on the lips of students with such praise as "I BET YOU'RE ONE OF MRS. SETLIF'S SPIES SENT TO ELIMINATE MEEE!" And the boy's locker room has such a strong scent of Axe body spray and teenage angst with a hint of acne cream that my nose still has a craving for such aroma that, when smelled, was always followed by a pelting of deodorant and rat-tailing by the sweaty shirt of some jockey. Walking the halls only to have your books knocked into a cactus was always a friendly reminder to "get dennis his money" by fellow students."

"The Kids in this school are so mean! Do not send your child here. Not that because the children are very rude is that the principal does nothing about it! I have been at this school 3 yrs. & still getting bullyed & my mom had to call The superintendent to get the principal to get the other kids to be punshied."

"I'm getting real tired of all the shenanigans going around at this school. Some people need to show their eagle pride and get learning like a good student. Some people just don't understand that school is a place for learning, not immature clowning around."
